Who are we?

Creating for Care was founded 2013, by Robin Robinson, as a way to honor the memory of her son, “Tuffy,” who fought a courageous battle for 18 months, before earning his wings and freedom from pain forever at the age of 3 years young. Creating for Care focuses on kids serving kids as a means of giving hope to vulnerable children: 1) fighting cancer; 2) other life-threatening illnesses; 3) as well as struggling in life circumstances for a multitude of reasons. We combine The Arts, service-learning, and animal/ nature encounters as some of our tools, while young hands and feet are the service piece impacting the lives of children with cancer in the Greater Houston and Bryan/ College Station area. Kids caring for kids is the most powerful form of love.

We have raised over 80,000, even with the disruption due to the COVID pandemic! Instead of being defeated, it created opportunity for adjustment. We are growing and expanding our approach and are so excited to partner with WhistleStop Acres, for that expansion. We have work to do! Join us!

CHILDREN CREATING CARE FOR CHILDREN

There are two ways to help.

Join Creating for Care and be a part of our service-learning organization.
Parents and children have the opportunity to serve by participating in projects.

The second way to help is to make a donation.
All proceeds go back to terminally ill children and their families to supply the things they need to
live as normal of a life as possible as they navigate treatment.
