Creating for Care CEO Robin Robinson

ROBIN ROBINSON, FOUNDER

We serve vulnerable children in our community, our city, and around the world including children with: severe illnesses, illiteracy, or impoverished circumstances through empathy, creativity, and service opportunities!

Creating for Care is an established 501c3 non-profit organization since the fall of 2018. We began as a service-learning organization in 2013 and as we grew, we moved into the official status to meet our goals and dreams. This organization is very dear to my heart as it was born as a means of honoring my sweet son who went home to Heaven way too soon at the young age of 3. He taught everyone that knew him how to live with joy in all circumstances and my goal is to carry his torch forward.

The organization focuses on kids serving kids as a means of relationship building with others. We encourage the use of creative thinking skills and talents in a collaborative effort within the community, as an outreach for fundraising. The activities and outreach foster the character building for compassion, understanding, and service to others like us, but who are struggling due to circumstances that create a vulnerability to their lives. We use The Arts and Service-Learning as the tools, while young hands and feet are the servants to impact hurting lives in the Greater Houston area. Kids caring for kids… truly a powerful form of love.

Following our mission we will support the following three pillars:

Pillar One

Pillar 1: Serving those with Severe Illness

Specific focus will be given to our Arts Programs, which empowers opportunities to collaborate using gifts and talents to create original art and performance-based fundraising in order to support various opportunities for vulnerable children.

Pillar Two

Pillar 2: Illiteracy

Active hands-on programs both locally and in Africa that will involve providing resources, time, and energy to fight the battle against illiteracy. CFC believes partnering locally and world-wide in the fight against illiteracy changes the trajectory of vulnerable children born into impoverished homes and communities.

Pillar Three

Pillar 3: Impoverished Circumstances

CFC believes that active support to address impoverished circumstances improves the battle against serious illness and illiteracy.

Some of our fundraising opportunities across the three pillars of our service include but not limited to:

  • Funding camps for children with cancer and other life threatening illness
  • Adopt-a-family program
  • Care Registry programs
  • Literacy Support programs and read to animal programs
  • Community events such as food drives, clothing drives,
  • social events for ill or impoverished children
  • animal sponsorship opportunities
  • Supporting global needs in Africa through literacy support in our global effort of impact
  • Ranch Run Fun Run event
  • Adopt an animal and ranch hand events
  • Live Nativity theatre performance and event

Finally, we learn the basic business skills needed for raising money, advertising, and selling.

A Year of Giving

No one has ever become poor by giving.

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.
